For those who know Dawn, the Spirit of Hospitality is who she is in life and of which she has built her career around, as well. As a small town gal from the Midwest, she applies a high level of work ethic, generosity and determination to every aspect of her life and to those around her.
 
Dawn attributes much of her success today, to the skills, opportunities and relationships she was able to create during her tenure of 17 years with Hilton Hotels Worldwide. During that time, she earned the privilege of managing some of their largest City Center Conference Hotels and Full Service Resort properties in the Western Region of the U.S., and was one of the first to work in the Franchise arm of the organization with one of the brand's first franchisee (Larkspur Hospitality) in pioneering the launch of the Hilton Garden Inn® brand and ultimately landing her the role she is most notably recognized for as Vice - President, Brand Management Hilton Garden Inn hotels from 2000-2006. During that time, she contributed to the brand's growth of over 320 hotels across the country and the brand's first five of their many JD Power and Associates Guest Satisfaction Index awards and other entrepreneurial Industry recognition to date.
 
Her ability and talent in stimulating personal and group excellence, inspiring others through their vision of what could be, taking control of and generating creative solutions in any situation, recognizing varying talent to form well rounded teams, deriving satisfaction through producing tangible outcomes, and overall mutual respect for others and their individual contributions as a whole, are just some of the qualities and levels of service you will come to learn are not only reflective of her leadership, but is also the foundation of the brand and the organization she has built and know today, as PHD Hospitality.

Amanda's sharp focus in all aspects of human resources including strategic management, employee and labor relations, risk management and human resource development are an integral part of PHD Hospitality.  She recognizes and cultivates the potential in our team members and handles the daily human resources operations for the hotel portfolio.
 
Prior to joining the PHD Hospitality as our Human Resources Manager and Safety Administrator in 2012, Amanda worked for ATI Ambulance. She held her EMT License for 10 years and while at ATI, she was not only an emergency medical technician but also their compliance manager and billing supervisor. Her past experience also includes staff positions within the fields of health care, food and beverage and event planning.
 
 

Michael Leaverton

Through his 20+ year career in hospitality industry, Michael has had many roles in operations ranging from Food and Beverage Director, Hotel General Manager to Regional Manager supervising a portfolio consisting of more than fifteen hotels.  Prior to joining PHD Hospitality in 2012, he previously held positions with Tristar Hotel Group, Lodgian/Servico and Promus Corporation.
 
His operational success and expertise include Asset Management, Multi-Property Management, Revenue Management and all areas of hotel operations.
