Heroes Network strives to work hard to improve our local organizations. From assisting other nonprofits with important donations to lending our hospitality expertise on a volunteer basis for community projects, we chip in and do whatever it takes to make sure we respect our local roots and ensure our community is headed in the right direction for future generations down the line.
November 2013 - 2016 - Million Can Crusade
Every November we join our good friends Ben and Matt of 102.5 KNIX's morning team in the annual Million Can Crusade and the fight against hunger in Phoenix. Heroes Network hosts a food drive in concert with their valley-wide effort. It is fun, fulfilling, and most of all FILLING! The cans and money raised go directly to over 80 parish-based food pantries in the community and then get delivered to hungry families. In 2014, all the volunteers delivered nearly 400,000 food boxes and in 2015, the drive raised more than 2.6 million cans of food. #hungersucks
December 2014 - Holiday of Hope Book Drive
Once again benefiting the STEP UP School of Mesa, Heroes Network impacted the lives of children with the gift of literacy. We collected new and gently used books, then dressed as Santa and his elves, delivered the books to the excited children.
October 25, 2014 - Making Strides - American Cancer Society Breast Cancer Walk
Friends, family and loved ones all rallied together to make strides against breast cancer. We all raised individual donations that contributed to breast cancer research.
