Christopher A. WilroyCFO/COO With 12 years of hospitality industry experience Chris has distinguished himself as a leader in management of all types of hotel properties from large scale full service to small limited service. Chris received a Bachelors Degree in Finance from Kennesaw State University in Georgia graduating Cum Laude and soon after entered a hotel management training program at the 1200 room Fontainebleau Hilton in Miami Beach. While at the Fontainebleau Chris worked in Revenue Management as the hotel’s Revenue Strategy Analyst responsible for revenue forecasting and group pricing strategy working closely with the sales team on the most effective strategy for rooms sales as well as usage of the hotel’s 100,000 square feet of meeting space. Chris was later promoted to Area Director of Revenue Management of the 400 room Hilton Charlotte and Towers as well the 180 room Doubletree Charlotte Gateway. During his tenure over these hotels Chris took the lead role in revenue management improvement across all departments implementing a cohesive pricing and sales strategy across both properties that sought to maximize revenue of not only rooms, but banquets and meeting space usage. As a result of Chris’ efforts the Doubeltree’s market share grew from less than their fair share to a 170 or 70% more then than fair share of the market and the number 1 RevPAR in the market. The Hilton also consistently grew share and was ultimately only second to the Doubletree in RevPAR. Chris was promoted to Regional Director of Revenue Management for Hilton and Doubletree Hotels in the southeastern US and ultimately began the Revenue Management support effort for the Hilton Garden Inn brand at the brand’s first Corporate Director of Revenue Management. During his tenure with the brand he helped to begin Hilton’s first Consolidated Revenue Management Hotel Center in which franchise hotels could pay for contracted revenue management services provided by Hilton. The center began with 4 Hilton Garden Inn hotels and now has over 100 subscribing properties across many brands. Chris made the transition to an operations support role for the Hilton Garden Inn brand as a Regional Director Brand Performance Support with a region of over 40 hotels in the South and Southwest. He then took on the role of Senior Director, Hotel Performance Support managing a team of 5 Directors supporting the operations and brand management of over 200 hotels. Chris also helped the brand launch into India and China during this role providing expert assistance and direction to international developers unfamiliar with the focused service concept, managing brand support in Asia, and overseeing the development of the Garden Inn brand’s first restaurant concept for HGI hotels launched in Asia. Chris left Hilton in July of 2008 and began as the Chief Financial and Operating Officer for PHD Hospitality LLC. With PHD Chris is responsible for operations support, centralized accounting functions, finance and revenue management strategy for all hotels managed by PHD.
